Policy Exchange and GIGA Berlin Office

Policy Exchange and GIGA Berlin Office

Guided by the Leibniz Association’s motto theoria cum praxi, the GIGA combines excellent research with close exchange between academia, politics, and the public. Our researchers provide expertise on Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and global developments. On this basis, we engage with policymakers and stakeholders in Germany, Europe, and around the world.

  • Berlin Office

In the heart of Berlin, right at Checkpoint Charlie, the GIGA Berlin Office strengthens dialogue at Germany's political centre. It serves as a hub for knowledge exchange with political, academic, civil society, and media institutions. With formats such as the GIGA Talk series, the Berlin Office presents research of global relevance and regional expertise, contributing directly to debates that matter for policy and society.
