Digital Development Dialogue (3D) 2021
The Digital Development Dialogue (3D) seminar, organized by Sarah Langlotz and Lennart Kaplan, is a monthly 45-minute online forum for policy and research exchange. Two speakers – one researcher and one practitioner – touch upon key topics in development policy with the goal of stimulating a meaningful dialogue across the theory & practice divide.
After a successful first edition, which was inspired by the challenges and opportunities for development cooperation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are looking forward to inspiring discussions among researchers, policymakers, and students throughout fall and winter 2020/2021.
We look forward to engaging with you in a dialogue.
Format The seminars last 45 minutes with about 30 minutes of presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A. While the meetings take place on an irregular basis (roughly once per month), they are scheduled for Thursdays from 03:00 p.m. to 03:45 p.m. (UTC+1).
The seminars are held on Zoom. Please subscribe to our newsletter to receive the Zoom link and all instructions to participate. We will use the newsletter only to share updates regarding upcoming 3D seminars and in case logistics need to be changed.
All participants will be muted during the presentations. In the Q&A, the moderator will open the microphone to participants that indicate to have a question via the chat.
Questions and Feedback Sarah Langlotz, Lennart Kaplan, and Erin Flanagan are happy to receive your feedback or handle any logistical questions via email@example.com.
