    Das Scheitern der jüngsten Gespräche über den Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam hat die Spannungen zwischen den Anrainerstaaten Äthiopien, Ägypten und Sudan verstärkt und die traditionelle Dynamik im Nileinzugsgebiet infrage gestellt. Anhand von drei Schlüsselfaktoren erklären die Autorinnen den politischen Stillstand.
