One-month Visiting Fellowship at the GIGA Institute for Latin American Studies

We are granting a one-month visiting fellowship at the GIGA Institute for Latin American Studies. The stipend of 5,000 Euros covers airfare, lodging, and any other living expenses during your stay.

The fellowship is open to researchers with a PhD in the social sciences at any career level, with a current research project on Latin American politics broadly conceived. Thematic projects that relate to GIGA’s key areas of interest and/or projects that seek collaboration with researchers at the GIGA are especially welcome. Applicants will be evaluated based on their research excellence, its policy relevance, and the promise of contributing to meaningful academic and policy exchange debates at the GIGA.

Visiting Fellows receive office space, access to the GIGA Library, and are integrated into GIGA activities for the duration of their stay. Fellows will be expected to do a research presentation during their stay.
