Global Approach to CAS Series I: Comparing cases of populism

This seminar deals with populism in international comparison. We will discuss two papers that will be provided prior to the meeting. We will try to find a common definition of populism and compare different cases in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Finally, we will ask how to analyse populist discourses/policies and whether it makes sense to speak of different degrees and types of populism.
