Mariana Llanos and Aníbal Pérez-Liñán awarded the Jewell-Loewenberg Paper Award

Prof. Dr. Mariana Llanos, Lead Research Fellow at the GIGA, has received the Jewell-Loewenberg Paper Award of the American Political Science Association (APSA) together with Prof. Dr. Aníbal Pérez-Liñán, University of Notre Dame. Their paper “Oversight or Representation? Public Opinion and Impeachment Resolutions in Argentina and Brazil” was named the best article of in Comparative Politics in the journal Legislative Studies Quarterly. The Jewell-Loewenberg Paper Award is awarded annually for the best article in the journal Legislative Studies Quarterly in the previous year. The award is presented during the APSA annual meeting awards ceremony.
