Anette Ruml Awarded for Excellent Research on Food Security


  • Dr. Anette Ruml, Research Fellow at the GIGA and Doctoral Researcher at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, was awarded the Hermann Eiselen-Science Award 2022 of the fiat panis foundation. She received the prize for her excellent research on "The Effects of Marketing Contracts and Resource-providing Contracts: Comparisons in the Small Farm Sector in Ghana". Her work provides impetus for the framework conditions to improve the food security of the local population. The award ceremony took place on 14 September 2022 in Prague. The Hermann Eiselen-Science Award is awarded every two years. The fiat panis foundation promotes young scientists who work on improving the food situation in countries of the Global South.
