    Focus group discussion with people living close to land acquisition projects and expert interviews with respondents within the government, civil society and private sector concerning the process of acquiring land and/ or individual land acquisitions. Focus group discussions recorded and transcribed, interviews with protocols. Conducted in Zambia, Mali and Kenya. Per country 6-9 focus group discussions (23 in total) and 25-34 interviews (84 in total). Results published in Land Use Policy, Journal of Modern African Studies and World Development.
