After months of refinement, the GIGA is pleased to present its new website, with a freshened-up design and a new web address: www.giga.hamburg *.
The GIGA has been closely linked to the Hanseatic City of Hamburg since its inception. To further strengthen these ties, we have changed our domain: starting today, you can find us at www.giga.hamburg. The format of our staff e-mail addresses has been changed to: forename.surname@giga.hamburg. E-mails sent to the previous addresses will, of course, still reach the recipients.
To enhance the usability of the website, we have also revised our start page completely. The new version will allow you to find your way to our research content, events, and publications more directly. The new layout, with updated navigation, offers users with mobile devices a smoother user experience across the website.
*Edit 2 March 2016: Due to unpredictable technical difficulties that came along with the domain change the GIGA returned to its domain www.giga-hamburg.de.
