In view of the increased turmoil worldwide, the future of multilateralism concerns us all. Political cooperation at the global level is essential to the development of solutions to problems which no longer only affect individual states or regions. In this regard, the G20 – as a global governance institution – plays a central role. In his talk as part of the GIGA Distinguished Speaker Lecture Series, Lars-Hendrik Röller will provide insights into the process of international cooperation and the recommendations for global rules.
