GIGA researchers will present their work on democracy at the 2018 annual meeting of the German Political Science Association (GPSA).
From 25 to 28 September, the twenty-seventh academic conference of the German Political Science Association (GPSA) will take place in Frankfurt am Main. The GIGA will be represented by eight researchers, who will present research projects on various topics ranging from populism in foreign policy based on the examples of India and Turkey, to innovative forms of democratic decision-making, to shrinking civic spaces.
Political scientists from across Germany will discuss their research on the “Frontiers of Democracy,” the conference theme. This year, the professional association’s annual meeting will be hosted by Goethe University Frankfurt.
