Publishing peer-reviewed journal articles is an indispensable element of any academic career. How do I find the right journal for my paper, and how do I avoid a quick "reject”? This seminar seeks to give students valuable tips on how to publish successfully in peer-reviewed academic journals. We will address questions relating to the entire journal publication process, from the choice of an appropriate journal to the submission of a manuscript and potential revisions as well as the final publication. Throughout, we will share “best practices” of successful publishing and point to potential pitfalls. Both the perspectives of authors and of editors will be represented.
