    GIGA President Prof. Amrita Narlikar was invited to give a welcome remark at the opening of the 2022 Forum on Globalization and Industrialization (FGI). The FGI has been a UNIDO flagship event since 2016 and provides a platform for policymakers, representatives of international organizations, academia, and practitioners.

    Under the lead of GIGA President Prof. Amrita Narlikar and Prof. Michael Zürn, the SCRIPTS Conference addressed the broad theme of Asian scripts (liberal or not) and asked how Asian states organise themselves and ally/partner with each other based on these scripts’ political/ economic features.
