Research Fellow (m/f/d) (65%)

The GIGA seeks to appoint a Research Fellow (m/f/d) (65%) Applications are invited for a 65% position, with a contract of 2.5 years. The position is designed for further professional qualification as defined in § 2 WissZeitVG (Academic Fixed-Term Contract Act). The salary is commensurate with TV-AVH / TVöD EG 13.

Student Assistant (m/f/d)

The GIGA seeks to hire a Student Assistant (m/f/d) to support the research projects “Mapping and Strengthening Civil Society Response to Disinformation” funded by NED and “Strengthening Civil Society Against the Weaponization of Anti-Fake News Laws: A Comparison of Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Thailand” for up to 8 hours per week. The Student Assistant will be required to be present in Hamburg. Currently, the remuneration is gross €12.00 per hour.

Studentische:r Mitarbeiter:in (m/w/d) im Informationszentrum, Fachbibliothek Nahost

Das GIGA sucht zum 1. Oktober 2023 eine:n studentische:n Mitarbeiter:in (m/w/d) im Informationszentrum, Fachbibliothek Nahost, am Standort Neuer Jungfernstieg. Die wöchentliche Arbeitszeit beträgt bis zu 15 Stunden. Der Vertrag ist zunächst befristet, wobei eine Vertragsverlängerung vorgesehen ist. Die Vergütung erfolgt in Anlehnung an den Stundensatz für studentische Hilfskräfte an der Universität Hamburg und beträgt derzeit brutto € 12,00 pro Stunde.

Direktionsassistent:in (m/w/d)

Das GIGA bietet zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine Position als Direktionsassistent:in (m/w/d) in unserem GIGA Institut für Lateinamerika-Studien. Der oder die Kandidat:in ist gleichzeitig Mitglied im Konferenzmanagement-Team des GIGA. Es handelt sich um eine unbefristete Stelle, wahlweise in Teilzeit (mindestens 50 %) oder Vollzeit, Entgeltgruppe 8 TV-AVH / TVöD.

Studentische:r Mitarbeiter:in (m/w/d) im Informationszentrum, Fachbibliothek Asien

Das GIGA sucht zum 1. September 2023 eine:n studentische:n Mitarbeiter:in (m/w/d) im Informationszentrum, Fachbibliothek Asien am Standort Neuer Jungfernstieg. Die wöchentliche Arbeitszeit beträgt bis zu 16 Stunden. Der Vertrag ist zunächst befristet bis zum 31. Dezember 2023, wobei eine Verlängerung vorgesehen ist. Die Vergütung erfolgt in Anlehnung an den Stundensatz für studentische Hilfskräfte an der Universität Hamburg und beträgt derzeit brutto € 12,00 pro Stunde.
