Our Research at Hamburg’s Summer of Knowledge 2019

Summer of Knowledge at the Town Hall square: In presentations and games, the GIGA will present a selection of its current research on the topics of climate change and migration, youth as actors for peace, the Syrian war, public investment in developing countries, and open-access publishing.

The “Summer of Knowledge 2019,” Hamburg’s science festival, will take place from 20–23 June in four theme-oriented tents at the Town Hall square. The GIGA and roughly 40 other Hamburg research institutions and universities will offer a fascinating look at topics such as the climate and the environment, technology, the social and natural sciences, medicine, art, and the city’s history. Admission is free of charge, and there is no need to register.
