Lars-Hendrik Röller to Speak at the GIGA about the Future of Multilateralism

Immediately after the parliamentary elections, Professor Lars-Hendrik Röller, Germany's G20 sherpa and an economic policy advisor to the federal chancellor, will speak at the GIGA about Germany’s future role in global politics.

In view of the increased turmoil worldwide, the future of multilateralism concerns us all. Political cooperation at the global level is essential to the development of solutions to problems which no longer only affect individual states or regions. In this regard, the G20 – as a global governance institution – plays a central role. In his talk as part of the GIGA Distinguished Speaker Lecture Series, Lars-Hendrik Röller will provide insights into the process of international cooperation and the recommendations for global rules.
