Date

Start

End

  • Concepts are of utmost importance for any research design. This GIGA session shows that concepts need to be thoroughly specified and that specific characteristics of grand concepts are likely to have specific consequences. Looking at the concepts of “resources” and “religion”, the lecturer will draw on the designs and results of a series of GIGA research projects to demonstrate the need to control the multidimensionality of concepts and offers advice on how to use concepts in the doctoral students’ own research.

    Dates

The course takes place online on 15 November 2021 from 10am to 1pm.
