Cooperation Event

G20 and Indo-German Intergovernmental Consultations – Outcomes for Indo-German Business Relations

Date

20/07/2017

Start

10:00 a.m. (UTC)

  • With the new dynamics in global political and trade relations, Indo-German economic cooperation is gaining in importance. The German-Indian government consultations at the end of May and the G20 summit at the beginning of July have provided a series of impulses that also have implications for the future course of German businesses.

We would like to shed light on and assess the outcomes of these political processes regarding their significance for German-Indian trade and investment relations.

We invite you to discuss what role the Indo-German partnership will play in the global politico-economic landscape as well as the opportunities and challenges facing businesses in both countries together with the new Indian ambassador to Germany in Berlin, H.E. Mukta Dutta Tomar; GIGA president Professor Amrita Narlikar; and business representatives.

The event will take place in English. Attendance is free-of-charge; however, registration is required. The deadline for registering is 18 July 2017.
