GIGA Focus International Edition No. 3/2010 Global Health, Aid Effectiveness and the Changing Role of the WHO (Wolfgang Hein and Ilona Kickbusch)

GIGA Focus International Edition is the English-language version of selected issues of the five German-language GIGA Focus series. It offers condensed analyses on topical political, economic or social issues that are directed towards a broad public in politics, economics, the media, and society generally. GIGA Focus International Edition is an open access publication.

GIGA Focus International Edition ist die englischsprachige Version ausgewählter Ausgaben der fünf deutschsprachigen GIGA Focus-Reihen . Die Reihen des GIGA Focus bieten Kurzanalysen zu aktuellen politischen, wirtschaftlichen oder sozialen Themen, die sich an ein breites, Publikum in Politik, Wirtschaft, Medien und Gesellschaft richten. GIGA Focus International Edition ist eine Open Access-Publikation.

Die Reihe wird vom GIGA redaktionell gestaltet. Die jeweils vertretene Auffassung stellt die des/der jeweiligen Autors/Autorin und nicht unbedingt die des Instituts dar. Neben dem GIGA Focus International Edition gibt das GIGA Focus-Reihen zu Global, Afrika, Asien, Lateinamerika und Nahost heraus, die jeweils monatlich erscheinen.

The series is featured editorially by GIGA. The represented concept is of the individual author and is not necessarily shared by the institute. Apart from GIGA Focus Global there are GIGA Focus series on Global, Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East which are published monthly.
